It was that time of year again, where all the fancy big designer houses came out to set the trends for next year’s season. Naturally, I have round up my fave picks from all the fashion weeks. Let’s begin!
Philipp Plein was a fave of mine, nice colours and lots of beautiful structure to flatter the body!
Roksanda was a name I never heard of before, but this collection was everything. I love colour and cute clothes and this was gorgeous. Let’s no forget the gold ‘n glam beauties at Tom Ford and Aadnevik!
Sexy from Versace and kawaii quirky from Sibling!
Chanel was a total riot at Paris Fashion Week, while Jean Paul Gaultier’s final Ready-to-wear collection was a burst of fun! Chanel clearly spares no expense for their runway shows, with a staged street of Paris built inside the Grand Palais and showing off the collection via a typical French protest.
Jitrois, another new name to me, had beautiful and really cool pieces that were sexy, chic and totally wearable!
Dolce & Gabbana was a stunner. Drawing again on classic Baroque and Renaissance periods for inspiration. They even had a bejeweled matador jacket! I hope that becomes a trend! Read my previous post on my hopes it will come back in The Glam Women’s Matador Jacket!
My all time favorite and best collection to hit the runways this season was definitely MOSCHINO!!!!Kitschy, quirky and super cute, a collection inspired by none other than Barbie!!! She was my earliest introduction to fashion and glamour. Soooo much fun!
Menswear S/S 2015
….and lastly something for the guys! Men’s fashion tends to be totally left out, underrated and doesn’t receive that much attention. That’s not fair. Here are my best picks for the boys!
That’s a wrap from my side on this year’s Summer/Spring collection!
