What started out as a flash of inspiration in the middle of the night in 2010, turned out into a story series culminating experiences in cute, quirky and colourful illustrations. The night, i got the inspiration for Bon Bon’s character, I hopped out of bed and got started sketching this image of a Japanese kawaii-inspired doll character scared of a phantom monster behind a sofa.
Since her creation, she has underwent some minor changes to her design and an addition of a friend Little Nono who shares the same quirky style and love for adventure.
It has been so much fun developing and creating my character in fun, colourful illustrations of experiences and all things that interest me personally. Welcome to the World of Little Bon Bon in a world of cute and high colour.
